1. Please respect copyright - While we do "walk the line" somewhat, please don't share music that we can easily purchase. Please also avoid "trade lists" or things like that. We're sensitive. Make sure it's out of print before you share it. To check, just click (here). If you need help, let us know.

2. Keep it soulful. Threads begun on this forum should pertain to "Soul"-related topics only. Other forms of music are certainly viable ones and, while we respect the need to converse about them, we ask that you limit your conversation here to Soul music and it's off-shoots. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

3. Have fun. We'll make it easy. This is a fun bunch.

4. No harmful website links allowed in profiles - We've seen a few new members sign in and leave harmful website URL's in their profiles. Please be assured that I visit every link left in member's profiles. I do this to make sure that none of the links are harmful to our members PC's. I fear no virus as I am computer-savvy enough to rid myself of them. Also, I'd rather be the one to find them than another unsuspecting member who might not know how to remove them. Any website link found to be harmful will be removed and the user will be deleted. We hate to take a "hard-line" approach but these kinds of things can be quite dangerous.

If you notice that the member is new, please wait one full day before you click on the website link in their profile. This will give me enough time to visit the link myself so that your computer doesn't get infected by a virus.

5. No over-the-top cursing - We had hoped this was obvious. Many of us come here to escape that sort of foolishness. Please don't get crazy with it and please don't link to websites or videos that get crazy with it. Your cooperation is appreciated.
